Middle pole sailcloth tent - 5.80 m
This middle pole for the Aurora sailcloth tent is made of glued spruce wood (Southern Yellow Pine), has an octagonal form and is 580 cm long (without pin). Thanks to the different groove patterns of the wood, the glued pole is stronger than a pole that is made of one piece of wood. Moreover, this way the natural look is unaffected.
The pin is made of rustfree steel and is not just installed on top of the pole, but also is inside the pole, which ensure an extra sturdy fixation of the pin to the pole.
The wood has been treated with a standard treatment, but it is recommended to additionally treat the poles with a colourless wood saturator. Products that can perfectly serve for this purpose are for example Owatrol Textrol, Owatrol D.1 or Textrol HES (wood saturator with a high drying extract).
The 580 cm middle pole is suitable for the 10 meter wide Aurora sailcloth tents with equally high middle poles (Queen version).
